PROJECT MANAGER

Location: Scotland
Working Pattern: 50% Site / 50% Office

THE ASSIGNMENT

We are currently looking for an experienced Overhead Line Project Manager to join an established global energy contractor delivering major HV and overhead line transmission projects across Scotland.

This is a site-facing Project Management assignment, combining 50% site and 50% office-based work, with responsibility for coordinating delivery, programmes, resources, subcontractors, and key project stakeholders.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Proven Project Management experience on HV / Overhead Line projects at 132kV+.

• Strong background in electrical infrastructure, transmission, or utilities.

• Experience managing projects from planning through to delivery.

• Strong Microsoft Project and project programming skills.

• Confident managing site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.

• Proven ability to manage programme, risk, quality, and delivery.

• Strong understanding of HSE requirements within major infrastructure projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of HV and overhead line projects.

• Manage project programmes, resources, milestones, and deliverables.

• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

• Monitor progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and delays.

• Support commercial management and cost control.

• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.

• Provide regular progress reporting to senior management and the client.
