Quality Bids & Proposals Coordinator

Quality isn't just about inspections. It's about getting it right before the contract is won.
We're looking for a Quality Bids & Proposals Coordinator to play a critical role in shaping competitive, compliant and commercially sound bid submissions. Working at the front end of the business, you'll ensure quality requirements, risks, resources and costs are fully understood and built into every proposal.
This is an opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys influencing decisions, collaborating across functions and helping secure major programmes in a highly regulated environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Reviewing customer specifications, drawings and contractual requirements to define the quality scope.
  • Developing Quality Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and ensuring quality activities are accurately costed and resourced.
  • Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality teams to validate delivery assumptions.
  • Identifying quality risks, opportunities and mitigation plans during the bid process.
  • Determining any additional inspection, testing, certification, tooling, training or specialist resource requirements.
  • Representing Quality at bid reviews, governance boards and proposal sign-off meetings.
  • Ensuring all proposed solutions meet customer, regulatory and business quality requirements.
  • Maintaining and improving quality proposal content, templates and response libraries.

What we're looking for

  • Experience within Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance or Manufacturing Quality.
  • A background supporting bids, tenders or proposals within aerospace, defence or another highly regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and quality management systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings and customer requirements.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.

Desirable experience

  • Developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and resource plans.
  • First Article Inspection (FAI) and APQP methodologies.
  • SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Internal or Lead Auditor qualifications.

Why join us?

This is a unique role sitting at the intersection of Quality, Commercial and Programme Delivery. You'll have a direct impact on winning business, shaping delivery strategies and ensuring successful programme outcomes from day one.
If you're a quality professional who enjoys looking beyond compliance and influencing business success, we'd like to hear from you.
