Marine Sander / Surface Finisher

Location: Sweden
Contract: 6 months, with potential extensions
Hours: 40 hours per week + overtime

MANE is recruiting experienced Marine Sanders and Surface Finishers for an exciting luxury yacht manufacturing project in Sweden.

You will be responsible for preparing and finishing fibreglass and composite yacht components to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sand and prepare fibreglass, GRP and composite surfaces.

• Carry out surface preparation before painting and coating.

• Remove imperfections, defects and excess materials.

• Perform filling, fairing and smoothing of yacht components.

• Use orbital sanders, grinders and other finishing equipment.

• Inspect finished surfaces to ensure a smooth, high-quality finish.

• Follow all health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of sanding, surface preparation or finishing experience.

• Previous marine, yacht, fibreglass or composite experience preferred.

• Experience using sanding and finishing equipment.

• Excellent attention to detail and quality.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must speak English.

• Must have the right to work in Europe.

What's on Offer:

• €21.87 per hour for the first 39 hours.

• €30.85 per hour for weekday overtime after 39 hours.

• €36.20 per hour for weekend hours.

• Accommodation and utility bills fully covered.

• Travel costs covered at the start and end of the assignment.

• In-country payroll.

• 6-month contract with potential extensions.
