Machinist

You will be working as part of a production team. Ideal candidate must have an interest in precision machining to ISO tolerances. An eye for detail and ability to read a 2D cad drawings.
Desirable Skills:

• Competent and capable of using with Colchester 600 manual lathes.
• 5000vs manual milling m/c.
• Machining high and low value metal and plastic parts to tight tolerances up to +-0.005mm
• Competent in using NC saw, manual lathe and manual mill.
• Practiced in interpreting technical drawings.
• Able to machine to tight tolerances.
• Enthusiastic, forward thinking, able to work under own initiative.
• Flexible team player.
• Able to demonstrate a passion for 'practical' engineering through hobbies, qualifications, or professional experience.
• Any welding experience is a bonus

You will be machining materials such as:
Stainless steel but includes
Aluminium,
Brass,
Bronze,
Igus,
Plastics.
