We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join a tunnelling project. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation works within a confined space environment, ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical terminations and glanding of cables.
Installation and connection of LED lighting systems within the tunnel environment.
Carrying out general electrical installation work associated with tunnelling infrastructure.
Working safely within confined space areas while adhering to site safety procedures and permits.
Ensuring all installations meet required quality and safety standards.
Working closely with site supervisors and other trades to support project delivery.
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment at all times.
Essential Requirements
Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
City & Guilds Medium Risk Confined Space Certificate (essential).
Proven experience carrying out terminations, glanding, and electrical installations.
Experience installing LED lighting systems.
Previous experience working on infrastructure, tunnelling, or construction projects is preferred.
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures, particularly within confined spaces.
Working Hours: 07:30am till 16:30pm (10 hours paid)
