This is a great role for an Electrical Engineer coming from an electrical contracting background who enjoys being involved in the delivery of projects rather than purely design-based work.
You'll work closely with the client, design team, BIM team, subcontractors and suppliers, supporting the electrical package from design coordination through installation, validation and handover.
The role will involve:

- Reviewing IFC drawings, specifications and technical information.
- Managing RFIs and technical queries.
- Coordinating with BIM teams and supporting Navisworks/BIM processes.
- Managing technical submittals and approvals.
- Supporting procurement, material take-offs and delivery schedules.
- Managing and coordinating electrical subcontractors.
- Monitoring engineering activities against the project programme.
- Supporting QA, validation, commissioning and handover.
- Developing and managing Construction Work Packs.
- Supporting BIM priorities, modularisation and fabrication information.
- Assessing subcontractor and supplier returns for technical compliance.
- Providing engineering progress information and supporting project reporting.
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers.
We're looking for:
- 5-7 years' experience with a recognised electrical contractor.
- Strong electrical construction/site engineering experience.
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
- Good knowledge of drawings, specifications and IFC documentation.
- Experience with Navisworks and BIM coordination.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Data centre or mission-critical experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of modularisation/off-site fabrication would be an advantage.
