CPCS Excavator Driver

Mane Infrastructure are on the look for a CPCS Excavator for a contract lift located in Croydon, London area.

Applicants will be required to safely and efficiently operate a 360 excavator to carry out excavation, grading, lifting (where authorised), trenching, and earthmoving activities in accordance with project specifications, site procedures, and health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CPCS 360 Excavator safely and competently.
• Carry out daily pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks on the machine.
• Undertake excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and loading activities as directed.
• Work in accordance with excavation drawings, permit systems, and supervisor instructions.
• Assist with lifting operations where appropriately trained and authorised.
• Work safely around underground and overhead services, following safe digging practices.
• Coordinate effectively with banksmen, groundworkers, and site management.
• Report any defects, hazards, near misses, or safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Comply with all health, safety, environmental, and site-specific procedures.
• Wear and maintain the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Essential Requirements

• Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator Operator card.
• Proven experience operating 360 excavators on construction or civil engineering projects.
• Good understanding of safe excavation practices and site health and safety requirements.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.

Working Hours:
14:30pm till 22:30pm
