CNC Operator

We're looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment, working on both production components and development projects.

The Role

• Set and operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work to tight aerospace tolerances
• Carry out setting, measurement and inspection of components
• Identify and escalate production or quality issues
• Work closely with the wider manufacturing team to achieve production targets
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping

Experience Required

• Previous experience setting and operating CNC machinery
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working to tight tolerances
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach

Desirable Experience

• Breton 5-axis gantry machines
• Siemens 840D SL controls
• MSP for setting and measurement
• Machining composite materials
• Basic understanding of G-Code
• Experience using hand/air tools and cranes
