HV Cable Puller - SGRE WTG | Middlesbrough

Position Overview
We are seeking experienced HV Cable Pullers to support a major offshore wind project in the UK.
The role is based in Middlesbrough, working on SGRE (Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy) wind turbine generators. This is a 12-month contract, commencing early September 2026, with a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation and 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out HV cable pulling and installation within SGRE wind turbine generators.
  • Handle, route and position HV cables in accordance with project procedures and technical requirements.
  • Work safely as part of a specialist turbine installation team.
  • Follow cable pulling procedures, HSE requirements and site-specific instructions.
  • Complete required SGTT training and competency requirements.
  • Maintain a high standard of safety, quality and workmanship throughout the project.



Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HV Cable Puller on SGRE offshore wind turbines/WTGs.
  • Previous experience with HV cable handling, routing and installation.
  • SGTT training/experience is highly desirable; candidates must be willing to complete the required SGTT training.
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Professional English communication skills (B1/B2 minimum).
  • Full UK right to work.
  • Availability for the full 12-month contract from August 2026.
