One of our leading defence engineering clients is expanding their Weapon Systems team and is looking for an experienced Systems Verification Engineer to support a range of high-profile UK and international programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-class organisation working on cutting-edge defence technology. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering verification and validation activities across multiple programmes, supporting system certification, compliance, and engineering governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver verification and validation activities across concurrent programmes, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality targets.

  • Review subsystem outputs and evidence to support system-level verification and certification.

  • Produce and maintain verification and certification documentation, including compliance matrices and product trial certificates.

  • Manage non-compliance reporting and coordinate closure of review and regression test panels.

  • Support generation of system-level compliance evidence and certification documentation.

  • Plan, prioritise, and execute engineering tasks across dynamic and complex project portfolios.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships across interfacing disciplines.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven background in systems engineering verification and certification processes.

  • Ability to manage and deliver work across multiple programmes simultaneously.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proactive and adaptable approach to workload management.

  • Working knowledge of DOORS or similar requirements management tools.

  • Understanding of the Systems Engineering lifecycle from concept through to delivery.

Benefits:

  • Salary up to £57,000, depending on experience

  • Performance bonus up to £2,500
