One of our leading defence engineering clients is expanding their Weapon Systems team and is looking for an experienced Systems Verification Engineer to support a range of high-profile UK and international programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-class organisation working on cutting-edge defence technology. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering verification and validation activities across multiple programmes, supporting system certification, compliance, and engineering governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver verification and validation activities across concurrent programmes, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality targets.
Review subsystem outputs and evidence to support system-level verification and certification.
Produce and maintain verification and certification documentation, including compliance matrices and product trial certificates.
Manage non-compliance reporting and coordinate closure of review and regression test panels.
Support generation of system-level compliance evidence and certification documentation.
Plan, prioritise, and execute engineering tasks across dynamic and complex project portfolios.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships across interfacing disciplines.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven background in systems engineering verification and certification processes.
Ability to manage and deliver work across multiple programmes simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proactive and adaptable approach to workload management.
Working knowledge of DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
Understanding of the Systems Engineering lifecycle from concept through to delivery.
Benefits:
Salary up to £57,000, depending on experience
Performance bonus up to £2,500
