System Integration Engineer - Offshore Wind
Role Overview
Responsible for ensuring end-to-end technical integration and functional alignment across offshore wind farm systems, including OSS, ONS, TP, WTGs, electrical infrastructure, cable systems, SCADA, protection & control, and grid interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain system integration strategies, functional architectures, and interface requirements from concept through commissioning and handover
Coordinate technical interfaces between disciplines, OEMs, contractors, and work packages, ensuring clarity of scope and responsibility
Identify and resolve system-level risks, gaps, and interface issues across design, construction, commissioning, and energisation phases
Support integrated testing, commissioning, and energisation activities, validating overall system performance and operational readiness
Maintain integration documentation and contribute to standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives
Profile
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or related discipline
Minimum 5 years' experience in system integration within offshore wind, substations, power systems, or large industrial projects
Strong knowledge of offshore wind electrical systems (OSS, ONS, TP, WTGs, cables), protection & control, and SCADA architectures
Proven expertise in interface management and system engineering methodologies
Ability to interpret SLDs, network architectures, and control philosophies
Strong analytical skills and effective stakeholder coordination across multidisciplinary teams
