Stores Operative

Job Title: Stores Person / Dispatch

Position Summary
We're looking for a reliable and organised person to help manage our stock, receive deliveries, and support dispatch in a busy manufacturing environment. You'll play an important role in keeping materials moving and making sure production runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming deliveries

• Book deliveries into the system accurately

• Organise and store stock in the right places

• Pick and issue parts for production as needed

• Keep stock records up to date

• Help with stock checks and sorting out any issues

• Work with other teams (production, planning, quality) to make sure parts are available when needed

• Keep the stores and work area tidy and safe

What We're Looking For

• Experience working in a warehouse or stores environment (especially in manufacturing is a bonus)

• Good attention to detail and can follow processes

• Comfortable using computers or scanners to track stock

• Physically fit and able to handle materials safely

• A team player who can communicate well with others
