Statutory Inspector - Irish Sea
- Up to €475 per annum
- Ramsgate, Kent
- Contract
We require two separate teams. The first is based in the Irish Sea (operations from Heysham), consisting of one Statutory Inspector and one Statutory Inspector / Authorised Person, operating as a two-man back-to-back team for a 12-16-week duration.
The second is based on the Southeast coast (operations from Ramsgate), again requiring one Statutory Inspector and one Statutory Inspector / Authorised Person, working as a two-man back-to-back team for a 50-week programme.
This is not a straightforward recruitment exercise. All candidates must already hold full certification, including WTSR authorisation, full GWO suite, safety passport, advanced first aid or enhanced GWO, offshore medical, and associated rescue and safety training. Beyond that, we need individuals who can demonstrate real competence in inspection, repair, replacement, and recertification activities, with proven hands-on experience across critical systems such as Tractel BlocStop, Palfinger and other lifting equipment, and a strong grounding in statutory inspection regimes and compliance.
Equally important is their ability to operate in offshore wind environments, develop and maintain technical documentation such as RAMS, TEPs and WSEs, and bring working familiarity with OEM-specific systems including Palfinger, Liftra, Hailo, Seasight, Liftket, Power Climber and HMF equipment. This is a technically demanding brief, and we are looking for candidates who can step in with minimal ramp-up.
