Senior Trader; Day Ahead Capacities

Key responsibilities

• Develop trading strategies for day ahead capacities and short-term power products.
• Analyze energy markets to identify trends and trading opportunities.
• Forecast market movements using data, analytics, and fundamental insights.
• Manage market risk and ensure full compliance with regulations.
• Take part in the daily shift rotation, including weekend shifts.
• Build and maintain relationships with market participants, partners, and stakeholders.
• Evaluate performance using P&L metrics and other trading metrics to optimize outcomes.

Job requirements

• Strong understanding of power and gas markets; knowledge of emissions trading is a plus.
• record in a day ahead capacity trading role, at least 5 years or more.
• Sharp analytical and quantitative skills, with a strategic mindset.
• Confident decision-maker, even under pressure.
• Skilled in communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
