End-to-End Production Leadership
- Own the technical delivery of F1 component production, ensuring alignment across engineering, quality, and manufacturing.
- Lead the resolution of non-conformities and faults, including those arising during live track events.
- Drive the selection of optimal technical solutions, balancing performance, manufacturability, and time constraints.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Design, Production Planning, Quality, PMO, and Car Engineering teams to align on solutions that meet both performance and production goals.
- Work closely with production leadership (Heads of, Team Leaders, Group Leaders) to continuously improve lead times and product quality.
- Act as a central point of coordination, ensuring seamless communication across all stakeholders.
Planning & Performance Optimization
- Define and manage project timelines, deadlines, and production targets.
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reduce lead times, and enhance efficiency.
- Contribute to the evolution of production through new technologies and advanced manufacturing methods.
Technical Authority & Mentorship
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to Production Project Managers.
- Support the development of team capability through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with senior engineering leadership to strengthen overall production strategy.
Documentation & Reporting
- Develop and maintain robust technical documentation, including procedures and ERP routing.
- Produce clear, data-driven reports, escalating risks and challenges where necessary.
What You Bring
Technical Expertise
- Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in a similar role within motorsport (F1 experience strongly preferred).
- Deep understanding of carbon prepreg manufacturing processes.
Professional Skills
- Strong project management capability with the ability to deliver under intense time pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving mindset, with a focus on practical and innovative solutions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Communication & Collaboration
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); Italian is a plus.
- Confident communicator, able to influence and align cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships in a high-performance environment.
Mindset
- Proactive, driven, and solutions-focused.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment.
- Committed to professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
