As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in creating complex, lightweight, and high-precision assemblies that meet the extreme demands of modern Formula 1. You will collaborate with performance, aerodynamics, and manufacturing teams to deliver cutting-edge designs at the forefront of racing technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical components and assemblies for high-performance F1 systems using CAD tools (e.g. Siemens NX, CATIA, or similar).

  • Work closely with performance, aerodynamics, and structural teams to optimise design for weight, stiffness, and reliability.

  • Support prototype and production builds, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to track.

  • Apply sound engineering principles to deliver innovative solutions under tight deadlines.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and research across vehicle systems.


Candidate Profile

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.

  • Proven experience in motorsport or high-performance engineering.

  • Strong CAD design skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, composites, and additive manufacturing.

  • A passion for innovation, performance, and precision engineering.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to deliver under pressure.
