About the Role:

Join a high-performing Electronics Engineering team delivering cutting-edge defence projects. As a Senior Electronics Engineering Project Manager, you will lead the planning, development, and delivery of advanced electronic sub-systems from concept through full production. This role offers a clear path to Delivery Lead and Sector Lead positions, managing larger project portfolios and mentoring junior project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of complex electronics engineering projects to time, cost, and quality
  • Apply Project Management best practices across risk, stakeholder, compliance, and configuration management
  • Oversee all phases of projects, from conception to close, ensuring seamless integration of electronics systems
  • Mentor Engineering Project Coordinators and support the development of the team
  • Drive delivery strategy and process improvements within electronics engineering projects
  • Represent the team in outreach, professional networks, and diversity initiatives


What We're Looking For:

  • Solid background in the development of electronics units and sub-systems
  • Proven experience managing complex electronics projects/programmes on time and to budget
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies, including Risk, Earned Value, and Configuration Management
  • Excellent communication skills, able to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality delivery
  • Flexible approach to hybrid working: able to collaborate on-site when required, with remote working accommodated

What We Offer:

  • Salary: Up to £65,000
  • Company Bonus: Up to 21% of base salary
  • Pension: Up to 14% total contribution (employer + employee)
  • Flexible working arrangements: 4 or 5 days per week, blended on-site/remote working
