Behind every world-class live event is a complex operation that depends on precision, reliability, and engineering excellence.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in designing, building, and supporting electronic systems that operate in high-performance, time-critical environments. You'll be part of a skilled engineering team delivering bespoke solutions that are deployed globally.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on role where you'll take ideas from concept through to reality. You'll work across a wide range of systems - from wiring looms and enclosures to fully integrated electronic solutions supporting data, audio, and broadcast capabilities.

The work is varied, fast-paced, and highly visible. The expectation is simple: everything must work, every time.

What You'll Be Doing

Building and Delivering High-Performance Systems

Design, build, assemble, and test electrical and electromechanical equipment, ensuring it meets the highest standards for deployment.

Produce and maintain multiple equipment sets, ensuring consistency, reliability, and quality across all builds.

Turning Requirements into Reality

Break down product requirements into clear hardware-level solutions. Support design activities such as wiring diagrams, enclosure layouts, and component selection, as well as contributing to minor PCB updates where required.

Integration and System Assembly

Integrate off-the-shelf components with custom-built elements to create complete, reliable systems that perform in demanding environments.

Testing, Fault-Finding and Maintenance

Carry out functional testing, verification, and structured fault-finding using electronic test equipment. Maintain and service equipment to ensure it remains fully operational and deployment-ready.

Documentation and Continuous Improvement

Maintain accurate build, service, and configuration documentation. Contribute to improving engineering processes, standards, and ways of working.

Participate in engineering and project reviews, supporting planning, testing, and delivery activities.

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • Strong background in electronics engineering, including schematic understanding and involvement in hardware design
  • Proven experience in hardware design, development, or system integration
  • Hands-on experience building and supporting electrical/electromechanical systems (e.g. wiring looms, enclosures, assemblies)
  • Experience debugging hardware and performing structured fault-finding
  • Practical experience maintaining and servicing equipment to ensure readiness

Technical Skills

  • Strong practical electronics skills (soldering, crimping, cable termination, basic PCB rework)
  • Ability to read and produce wiring diagrams, loom drawings, and assembly documentation
  • Good understanding of electrical components, connectors, power distribution, and system integration
  • Competent using electronic test equipment for verification and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with electromechanical assemblies and enclosure build practices

Personal Attributes

  • Methodical and analytical problem-solver
  • Able to perform effectively in high-pressure environments
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and reliability
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, able to work independently and within a team
  • Strong communicator, comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams
  • Well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications (Beneficial, Not Essential)

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronics Engineering or a related field

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in broadcast or automotive / motorsport environments

Why Consider This Role?

This is an opportunity to work on systems that operate at the highest level, in environments where performance and reliability are critical.

You'll be part of a team solving real engineering challenges, building bespoke solutions, and delivering technology that must perform flawlessly under pressure.

If you enjoy hands-on engineering, problem-solving, and seeing your work operate in demanding real-world conditions, this role offers a unique and rewarding challenge.
