RF Systems Engineer

We are expanding our Data Link Systems team to further develop world-leading missile data link capabilities.

Dynamic (hybrid) working: Typically 2 to 5 days per week on-site, depending on project needs and workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizenship or Dual UK nationality with British citizenship is required.

The team is located across two main sites-Bristol and Stevenage-and works closely with multiple disciplines to deliver innovative and robust defence solutions.

Key Skills and Experience (one or more of the following preferred):

• RF / Microwave systems knowledge

• Requirements management and systems-level design

• Experience working with or managing external suppliers

• Technical leadership and mentoring of junior engineers

• Design review experience across the development lifecycle

• Experience transitioning development hardware into production (e.g., environmental/qualification testing)

• Software/Firmware integration and system functionality testing

• Understanding of antenna systems and RF system modelling

• Real-time digital signal processing expertise

• Waveform design and implementation knowledge

• Autocode generation and systems modelling

• Research capability based on academic or technical publications

• Strong communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder presentations
