Job Title: Project Scheduler
Contract Duration: 6 Months - Inside IR35- Rate DOE
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Site Planner to support and optimise the planning, scheduling, and resource management of all onshore and offshore activities for a major offshore wind operation. This is a critical role, ensuring efficient and effective execution of work scopes through detailed integrated site planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage long-, mid-, and short-term integrated site plans for all onshore and offshore works.
- Lead resource planning and demand forecasting, including vessels, personnel, spares, tools, and contractors.
- Create and maintain resource models to optimise productivity and yield.
- Recommend innovative approaches to balance resource availability with operational requirements.
- Work closely with management to develop work patterns and shift plans aligned with resource strategy.
- Identify risks and opportunities within the site plan and provide mitigation or optimisation strategies for programme slippages or underutilised capacity.
- Translate strategic plans into daily/short-term schedules, including generating daily transfer and PAX lists.
- Plan and coordinate logistics to maximise WTG access time and reduce travel distances/times.
- Manage and update the Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP) - including job requests, equipment tracking, and resource usage.
- Track and report progress on all O&M activities, including retrofits, inspections, jack-up campaigns, and routine services.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project or Resource Planner, ideally in offshore wind or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning tools such as MS Project.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with SAP (CMMS functionality).
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to draw insights and inform decisions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
