Regional QC Lead

We are looking for an experienced Regional QC Lead to take ownership of Quality Control across multiple major construction projects throughout Europe.

This is a senior regional position for someone who can operate beyond an individual project, providing technical leadership, setting consistent quality standards and acting as the key escalation point for complex QC issues across multiple locations.

You will work closely with senior project and regional leadership, engineering teams, clients and site-based QC teams to ensure construction, CSA, mechanical, electrical and commissioning activities consistently meet the required standards.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Leading, mentoring and supporting QC teams across multiple European project locations.
• Acting as the regional escalation point for complex quality issues, NCRs, defects and corrective actions.
• Driving consistent QC procedures, inspection processes and documentation across projects.
• Reviewing and overseeing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements and quality checklists.
• Conducting site audits, inspections and quality walks across active projects.
• Ensuring materials, installations and systems meet project, statutory and client requirements.
• Developing regional QC guidance, templates, procedures and best-practice standards.
• Driving lessons learned and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitoring NCRs, defects, rework, audit findings and quality close-out performance.
• Preparing regular QC performance reports for senior leadership.
• Representing the quality function during client meetings, audits and inspections.
• Providing early QC input into pre-construction, mobilisation and project start-up activities.
• Supporting buildability reviews, design coordination and technical workshops.
• Supporting quality risk assessments and the implementation of effective mitigation strategies.

About You

You will be an experienced Quality professional with a strong background in major construction, data centre, MEP or industrial projects.

We are looking for:

• 7+ years' experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance.
• Strong knowledge of CSA, mechanical, electrical and commissioning quality requirements.
• Proven experience working across multiple sites, projects or countries.
• Strong knowledge of ITPs, inspections, Method Statements, NCRs and QA/QC documentation.
• Experience leading, mentoring or coordinating QC teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The confidence to challenge standards, influence project teams and drive accountability.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout Europe.

Desirable

The following would be highly advantageous:

• Hyperscale data centre experience.
• Experience working for Tier 1 contractors or with major global clients.
• Chartered status or a relevant engineering/construction qualification.
• Experience with digital quality platforms such as Procore, BIM 360 or Zutec.
• Experience developing regional QC procedures and governance frameworks.
• Experience delivering quality improvement and standardisation programmes across multiple projects.
