Regional Lead - Germany

Project Type: Data Center Construction/Power Generation

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish German operations, including office setup, governance, and local processes
• Act as the senior regional and commercial representative in Germany
• Develop and execute the German growth strategy aligned with European and global objectives
• Build brand and reputation within the German data center, construction, and energy markets
• Recruit, build, and lead multi-disciplinary project delivery teams in Frankfurt and Berlin
• Establish scalable organisational structures across project management, engineering, site delivery, and commercial functions
• Create a strong safety-first, performance-driven culture aligned with company values
• Develop local leadership capability to support long-term growth
• Overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects within the data centre sector
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
• Implement project management, HSEQ, and commercial controls adapted to German regulations
• Act as senior escalation point for critical project and site issues
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Support bid strategy, tender reviews, and contract negotiations (including German VOB / BGB frameworks)
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to pipeline development in Germany
• Collaborate closely with European and global leadership on key accounts
• Ensure full compliance with German construction, employment, environmental, and HSEQ regulations
• Liaise with authorities, inspectors, and external advisors
• Build and manage a strong local supply chain and subcontractor network

Qualifications/Experience:

• Strong construction background with leadership experience on large-scale infrastructure or MEP-led projects
• Proven experience setting up project teams, regional operations, or new business units
• Experience delivering data centre, critical infrastructure, or energy-related projects
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, contracts, and risk
• Fluent German and professional-level English
• Willingness to travel regularly within Germany
