We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of multiple projects nationwide. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded professional to work across varied projects, liaise directly with clients and sub-contractors, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial aspects of projects, including sub-contract documentation, warranties, and bonds
- Prepare, submit, and negotiate variations, claims, and interim/final valuations
- Monitor cost and revenue performance, including cost and cashflow forecasts
- Provide commercial and contractual advice internally and to external clients
- Agree sub-contractor accounts and maintain accurate financial records
- Attend project sites nationwide to liaise with clients and sub-contractors
- Support the achievement of project objectives through effective cost control and risk management
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in construction, preferably structural steel
- Strong understanding of commercial and contractual management
- Relevant academic qualification (HND or degree) desirable
- Professional membership of RICS advantageous
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
