Quantity Surveyor - Yate

We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of multiple projects nationwide. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded professional to work across varied projects, liaise directly with clients and sub-contractors, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of projects, including sub-contract documentation, warranties, and bonds
• Prepare, submit, and negotiate variations, claims, and interim/final valuations
• Monitor cost and revenue performance, including cost and cashflow forecasts
• Provide commercial and contractual advice internally and to external clients
• Agree sub-contractor accounts and maintain accurate financial records
• Attend project sites nationwide to liaise with clients and sub-contractors
• Support the achievement of project objectives through effective cost control and risk management

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction, preferably structural steel
• Strong understanding of commercial and contractual management
• Relevant academic qualification (HND or degree) desirable
• Professional membership of RICS advantageous
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
