Press Machine Operator

This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to maintain quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend metal components to required specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders
• Select correct tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job
• Measure and inspect finished products using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate bends and maintain quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
• Ensure all products meet company quality and tolerance standards
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines
• Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to meet production targets

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience operating press brake machinery (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Good mathematical skills and understanding of measurements
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to use measuring tools such as verniers and gauges
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of workplace safety procedures
