Powder Coat/Paint Sprayer

This is a contract on-site role for a Powder Coater/Paint Sprayer located in South East London. The Powder Coater/Paint Sprayer will be responsible for powder coating and spraying of various parts and components.

Key Skills:
Job role: Powder Coat & Paint prepper.

• Preparation of parts for Powder coat & wet spray.
• Surface prep and masking unpainted areas.
• Good eye for detail.
• Clean and tidy work ethic
• Good Timekeeping
• Hanging parts efficiently, setting up spray guns, applying powder coat evenly using electrostatic equipment, and managing colour changes.
• Loading coated items into ovens and baking them at specified temperatures and times.
• Inspecting finished products for consistent thickness, coverage, and defects; performing first-piece and in-process checks.
• Setting up, cleaning, and performing basic maintenance on spray guns, booths, filters, and ovens; maintaining a tidy work area.
• Good Timekeeping

Approximately 5-10 hours of overtime available each week.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday (7.00am to 4.00pm). Friday (7.00am to 11.15am)
Overtime will be available as and when.

Interview Requirements:

• Passport - UK
• A non-UK passport endorsed to show they have Indefinite leave to remain, or appropriate visa

OR

• Share code (EU Settlement or E-visa) AND proof of National Insurance (P60, P45, HMRC Letter, old payslip)
