Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules across electrical and engineering contracts.
- Collaborate with Contracts Managers to define planning rates and key project milestones.
- Establish logical work sequences, durations, and dependencies for all project activities.
- Monitor and report on project progress through attendance at programme and stakeholder meetings.
- Review supplier and subcontractor schedules to ensure alignment with overall project timelines.
- Utilise Earned Value Management (EVM) and resource planning tools to track performance and forecast outcomes.
- Prepare and implement change controls related to project scope, schedule, and budget allocations.
- Provide accurate scheduling insights to support internal planning and coordination across teams.
Qualification
- HNC, HND, or BSc in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a project planning role within the electrical or engineering sectors.
- Proven ability to define efficient work sequences and manage activity durations.
- Strong understanding of scheduling methodologies, planning software, and progress tracking tools.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities, with experience handling multiple concurrent projects.
