Part 145 Maintenance Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance, inspection, and servicing of company products worldwide, including work performed at customer locations and other off-site sites.
- Perform repair and maintenance activities on products and components at the Kaiserslautern facility.
- As certified aviation personnel, issue EASA Form 1 documentation and confirm the airworthiness of relevant products and components.
- Act as a company representative at customer sites, ensuring product availability, safety, and quality standards are met.
- Support production teams with full seat assembly, customer acceptance inspections (source inspections), and spare parts activities to ensure continued airworthiness.
- Maintain accurate, complete records of all work in accordance with aviation authority regulations.
- Take on additional related duties as required within the role.
Candidate Profile:
- Completed technical vocational training, ideally as an aircraft mechanic or mechatronics technician, plus further qualification as a state-certified technician (preferably aviation-related).
- Several years of relevant industry experience, ideally within aviation maintenance or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of EASA regulations, particularly Part 21G and Part 145.
- Solid understanding of aviation systems, processes, and hands-on product work.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
- Proactive, structured, and practical approach to work.
- Motivated by continuous improvement and contributing ideas.
- Professional, polite, and customer-focused attitude.
- Eligibility or existing clearance for reliability/security checks under LuftSiG.
- Strong written and spoken German and English skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally frequently (up to 75%).
