Part 145 Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance, inspection, and servicing of company products worldwide, including work performed at customer locations and other off-site sites.
  • Perform repair and maintenance activities on products and components at the Kaiserslautern facility.
  • As certified aviation personnel, issue EASA Form 1 documentation and confirm the airworthiness of relevant products and components.
  • Act as a company representative at customer sites, ensuring product availability, safety, and quality standards are met.
  • Support production teams with full seat assembly, customer acceptance inspections (source inspections), and spare parts activities to ensure continued airworthiness.
  • Maintain accurate, complete records of all work in accordance with aviation authority regulations.
  • Take on additional related duties as required within the role.

Candidate Profile:

  • Completed technical vocational training, ideally as an aircraft mechanic or mechatronics technician, plus further qualification as a state-certified technician (preferably aviation-related).
  • Several years of relevant industry experience, ideally within aviation maintenance or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of EASA regulations, particularly Part 21G and Part 145.
  • Solid understanding of aviation systems, processes, and hands-on product work.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
  • Proactive, structured, and practical approach to work.
  • Motivated by continuous improvement and contributing ideas.
  • Professional, polite, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Eligibility or existing clearance for reliability/security checks under LuftSiG.
  • Strong written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally frequently (up to 75%).
