Panel Wirer

Due to continued growth, our client is urgently seeking an experienced Panel Wirer to join their production team, with a clear pathway to progress into a Workshop Supervisor role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual looking to develop their career within a dynamic and expanding business.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and wire a variety of control panels
• Work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Carry out point-to-point wiring, cable crimping, looming, and termination
• Mechanical assembly of electrical switchgear
• Panel fitting work including marking out, drilling, and tapping
• Assemble brackets, guards, and perform general fitting work
• Repair and maintain electrical switchgear and panels

Requirements

• Proven experience in control panel wiring
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
• Experience with:
  • MCBs
  • Contactors
  • Relays
  • Inverter Drives
  • PLCs
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on assembly experience
• Experience working with medium to large control panels (highly advantageous)
