This is your chance to work at the cutting edge of technology, precision, and speed - where every detail matters and each day brings the thrill of pushing boundaries.
- What You'll Do
You will be an essential part of a cross-functional team - collaborating with our Model Shop, Production, Design, and Aero Development experts - to create highly detailed scale models for wind tunnel testing, directly influencing the performance of our race-winning machines. - Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building precision scale models for wind tunnel evaluation, following technical drawings and instructions with meticulous accuracy.
- Finishing rapid prototype parts, including surface preparation, painting, and installing inserts for maximum performance fidelity.
- Using a variety of hand and machine tools to fabricate and modify both mechanical and composite components.
- Assembling complex model systems ready for aerodynamic testing.
- Calibrating advanced measurement systems, setting up moving components and actuators, and carrying out quality control checks using both mechanical and electronic methods.
- Participating in wind tunnel testing - including shift-based work - to deliver accurate, high-quality aerodynamic data.
