Mechanic

A global leader in the design, development and production of tracked and wheeled military vehicles is currently looking for Mechanics to work out in Europe.

Role & Responsibilities:

• As a Mechanic, you will be maintaining, repairing & overhauling various military vehicles.
• Ideal candidate must have previous experience of working as a heavy equipment mechanic.
• Must have previous experience of servicing and repairing wheeled & tracked vehicles.
• As the Mechanic you will be responsible for the whole maintenance of military vehicles and components, performance of repairs and modifications.

Tools:

• Tools will be provided by the client

Skills & experience:

• Vehicle and general assemblies
• Mounting and checking of assemblies
• Running tests
• Checking and preparation of vehicles
• Realisation of pretesting's
• Testing's and vehicle demonstrations
• Repairs and reconstructions of customer vehicles
• Repairs, warranty repair work and retrofits by customer service
• Diagnostics and repairs of assemblies and vehicles
• Prototype installations and integration of modifications into pilot-series or pre-series vehicles or assemblies
• Elaboration of proposals for special tools and testing sets
• Elaboration of basics for offers on warranty- and repair work
• Work according to Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen
• Compliance with EHS regulations
• Must have experience working with specialist/military vehicles
