Duration: 6 months (Start: ASAP)
Rate: £350 per day

Overview


We are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Operative - Lift Supervisor to support a project in Melksham. This role requires a qualified and competent Lift Supervisor with proven site experience, ensuring all lifting operations are planned, supervised, and executed safely and in line with regulations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining safe lifting practices across site operations, supporting mechanical and electrical works, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate lifting operations on site
  • Ensure all lifts are carried out safely and in accordance with lift plans and site procedures
  • Support M&E activities as required
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with lifting regulations
  • Liaise with site teams to ensure smooth and safe operations
  • Maintain strict adherence to health & safety standards at all times

Essential Skills & Requirements

  • Valid NG Person certification (essential)
  • Manual Handling certification (essential)
  • Proven experience in a Lift Supervisor role
  • Strong understanding of lifting operations and site safety procedures
  • Ability to work effectively on active construction sites
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and competent under site conditions

Desirable Skills

  • Previous M&E site experience
