Materials Handler

You will be responsible for a range of warehouse activities including goods receipt, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and stock control, while consistently adhering to site safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and book in incoming goods accurately
• Store and put away stock in designated locations in line with procedures
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch to meet customer requirements
• Carry out shipping activities, ensuring all documentation is correct
• Perform stock movements and maintain accurate inventory records
• Conduct regular cycle counts and support stock accuracy initiatives
• Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly within the system (e.g. ERP/WMS)
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation within the warehouse
• Follow all health & safety, quality, and compliance procedures at all times

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Basic IT skills (experience with warehouse systems such as SAP, D365, or similar is advantageous)
• Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
