Are you a Manufacturing Engineer passionate about driving efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within a complex engineering environment?
We're seeking a proactive Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role across the full product lifecycle, from development and prototyping through to full-rate production. You'll work closely with engineering, production, and operations teams to develop robust manufacturing processes, improve yield, reduce costs, and support the successful delivery of key programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise manufacturing processes and production methods.
• Define assembly sequences, work instructions, production layouts, and material flows.
• Create and maintain Manufacturing BOMs, routings, and process documentation.
• Identify tooling and fixturing requirements to support production.
• Generate technical requirement specifications and manufacturing estimates.
• Support production readiness, shop floor problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive lean manufacturing principles to improve quality, efficiency, and throughput.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, and Operations.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in manufacturing engineering within a complex engineering or highly regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of assembly processes, including electro-mechanical assembly, bonding, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality improvement methodologies.
• Experience producing technical drawings using CAD software.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and management of BOMs and routings (SAP desirable).
• A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for driving operational excellence.
• Composite manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
