Manufacturing Engineer

Our client leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineering to strengthen its team. This role acts as a key interface between Manufacturing Engineering and Production, ensuring smooth technical operations, accurate documentation, and efficient problem-solving on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the link between engineering and production, providing technical assistance and solutions.
Manage and maintain technical workflows within systems such as SAP and internal workflow tools.
Analyse technical issues and determine appropriate corrective actions.
Create rework orders and incorporate technical instructions, tools, and parts information.
Duplicate and manage quality non-conformance items for logistics activities.
Provide accurate and valid documentation (drawings, sketches, concessions, DQNs, etc.).
Translate technical documents (SOI, MET, and others).
Identify suitable equivalents for parts and tools when needed.
Create or update workflows (NC, TLB, QLB) based on approved technical solutions.
Forward completed work orders to the relevant production teams.
Initiate the manufacture of special or one-off parts.
Maintain and update technical databases.
Prepare and actively participate in technical and production meetings.
Profile
Education & Experience
Completed technical qualification (certified technician or equivalent) or engineering degree (e.g., Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace).
Minimum 2 years' experience in an aerospace/aviation environment, ideally with large aircraft structures.
Technical Skills
Solid understanding of aeronautical processes and technologies.
Strong German and English communication skills, especially in technical contexts.
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access).
Experience with relevant industry software such as SAP, PR3, SSi, Trend, Zamiz, etc.
Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards (e.g., ISO 14001).
