Manufacturing Cell Leader

Join a fast-growing manufacturing business as a Manufacturing Cell Leader, where you'll lead a team to deliver high-quality products efficiently, safely, and on time. This hands-on role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop your production team to achieve daily targets and KPIs.

• Ensure efficient use of people and resources to meet delivery, quality, and safety standards.

• Maintain high levels of housekeeping, equipment calibration, and process control.

• Manage production documentation, non-conformance reporting, and work order closures.

• Communicate targets and priorities clearly to the team and monitor performance.

• Support training, skill development, and cross-training of team members.

• Drive continuous improvement and take part in root-cause and corrective-action processes.

• Liaise with other departments (e.g. Scheduling, Quality, Engineering) to ensure smooth workflow.

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, ISO9001, and ISO14001 standards.

• Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and non-conformities.

About You

• Minimum 3 years' experience leading a production team.

• Strong communicator, problem-solver, and decision-maker under pressure.

• Confident leader with a collaborative and motivating style.

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of H&S legislation, ISO9001, and ISO14001.

• Understanding of production costs, waste, downtime, and process efficiency.

• Hands-on mindset - leads by example and drives results.
