Are you an experienced Lift Engineer or Service Engineer looking for a role that offers variety, technical challenge, and long-term progression?

The Role

You will play a key part in the service, maintenance, and repair of lift and hoist systems used across high-rise buildings and commercial sites.
This is a field-based position offering hands-on technical work, where no two days are the same - from fault-finding and inspections to installation support and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on lifts, hoists, and access systems.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new lifting equipment.
  • Work on both electrical and mechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Liaise directly with clients and site teams to deliver high standards of service and minimal downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Travel primarily within London, with occasional work in other regions such as Liverpool and Manchester.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Lift Engineer, Service Engineer, or Access Equipment Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away when required.
