Purpose:
To perform, supervise, and certify avionics maintenance activities during scheduled C-check inspections on Boeing 777 aircraft, ensuring compliance with EASA regulations and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out and certify avionics and electrical maintenance tasks in accordance with approved maintenance data (AMM, CMM, IPC, wiring diagrams).
  • Perform detailed inspections, functional testing, fault diagnosis, and rectification of aircraft avionics systems (e.g., communication, navigation, autoflight, instrumentation).
  • Supervise and support unlicensed engineers and technicians, ensuring tasks are completed safely and correctly.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with EASA Part-145 requirements and company MOE procedures.
  • Accurately complete maintenance documentation, CRS entries, and technical records.
  • Identify and report defects, discrepancies, and potential safety hazards.
  • Coordinate with B1 engineers and other departments to ensure efficient check progression.

Scope of Work (C-Check Specific):

  • Extensive system testing and zonal inspections.
  • Wiring inspections, bonding checks, and connector condition assessments.
  • Avionics bay inspections and equipment replacements as required.
  • Implementation of Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and modifications.
  • Troubleshooting complex intermittent and deferred defects.

Requirements:

  • Valid EASA Part-66 B2 License with Boeing 777 type rating.
  • Recent experience on wide-body aircraft maintenance, preferably heavy checks.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft avionics systems and digital troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and wiring schematics.
  • Human Factors and EWIS training (current).
