Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 6:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am - 12:00pm
Rate: £25.00 per hour (Umbrella or CIS, where applicable)
The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Labourer to join a major National Grid project in Pembroke. This is a 12-week contract offering consistent hours and the opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project.
The successful candidate will provide general labouring support to site teams, assisting with the safe and efficient delivery of works while maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety on a live National Grid site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general labouring duties to support site operations.
- Assist trades, plant operators, and supervisors as required.
- Load, unload, and move materials and equipment safely around site.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
- Follow site instructions and comply with National Grid procedures.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Attend daily briefings and toolbox talks.
Essential Requirements
- Current National Grid Persons training/accreditation.
- Previous experience working as a Labourer on construction, utilities, or infrastructure projects.
- Good understanding of site health & safety procedures.
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
Desirable
- Valid CSCS Labourer Card.
- Experience working on National Grid or other high-voltage infrastructure projects.
- Manual Handling, First Aid, or other relevant site qualifications.
