An exciting opportunity to join a world-class helicopter operator at the heart of the Swiss Alps who provide precision specialist operations to the humanitarian, transport and infrastructure services.
Although you have a hands-on mentality and enjoy maintaining helicopters, you will be looking for a management role which supports the Senior Leadership Team, and will ideally currently be in a similar role, such as a Trainer, Planning Manager, Technical Manager, Quality Manager, Deputy Maintenance Manager, or similar.
This advantageous and varied position will involve a variety of duties covering Helicopter Maintenance Operations, including performing maintenance work, supporting quality assurance functions, designing and implementing training programs, and working with apprentices and junior members of staff.
You will be part of a globally recognised business that operates within Europe and across the globe. This role will involve travelling as and when required, however you will be primarily based and working in Switzerland, so you will enjoy the stability, lifestyle, and beauty of working here.
The Role
This is a varied position where you will spend around one-third of your time on hands-on maintenance and two-thirds supporting the leadership team with management and operational activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing maintenance work to the highest safety and compliance standards
- Supporting quality assurance and compliance functions
- Training, mentoring, and developing team members
- Designing and implementing training programmes
- Managing and completing aircraft documentation
- Analysing KPIs and driving continuous improvement
- Assisting with planning and coordination of operations
- Travelling to sites as needed to support operational requirements
This is a role that requires flexibility, but flexibility is also offered in return.
Requirements:
- EASA Part 66 B1.3 licence (mandatory)
- Type rating on AS332 (preferred)
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Fluent in English and/or German
