Are you a mechanically minded engineer looking for a field-based role where you're trusted to manage your own day, enjoy genuine flexibility, and get paid for every minute you're on the road?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company maintaining and inspecting garage equipment at customer sites. Working from home, you'll cover a local patch of roughly one hour from your home, giving you the independence of field service without the downside of overnight stays or on-call duties.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintaining of garage equipment.
- Diagnosing faults and identifying repair requirements.
- Preparing repair quotations and recommendations for customers.
- Providing a professional, customer-focused service while maintaining high engineering standards.
- Managing your own schedule and travelling to customer sites across your local area.
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical experience within a relevant engineering or maintenance environment.
- Confident carrying out inspections and fault finding on industrial equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
