Estimator - BSL

We are currently recruiting for an Estimator to join a growing and well-established business. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and customer-focused professional with a strong understanding of the estimating process and the ability to manage multiple tenders within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the enquiry and tender process, identifying commercially viable opportunities
• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates from drawings and specifications
• Liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth tender delivery
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting repeat business
• Support the development of new business opportunities
• Work collaboratively across the business to ensure successful project handover

Requirements

• Proven experience in an estimating role within construction or engineering
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage a varied workload and meet tight deadlines
• Relevant qualification in a technical or engineering discipline (desirable)
• Experience within secondary steel or architectural metalwork (advantageous)
