We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a team focused on mission-critical projects (pharma/data centres). The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to price projects accurately and effectively, ensuring competitive pricing and successful outcomes for clients. This role is preferably based in Waterford, though candidates within commuting distance of Dublin (Tallaght) or Cork (Little Island) will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities


  • Pricing a wide variety of mission-critical projects (life sciences, data centres, healthcare, and pharma) across Ireland and internationally

  • Managing the tendering process from initial review through to submission

  • Preparing detailed take-offs and estimates, considering all relevant drawings, specifications, and documentation

  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and ensure cost efficiency

  • Attending pre- and post-tender review meetings

  • Participating in handover meetings with operations teams upon successful project award

  • Working both independently and as part of a collaborative team


Key Requirements


  • Electrical trade qualification or a tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years' postgraduate experience in the construction sector, specifically pricing electrical packages

  • Ability to meet demanding deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly present findings

  • Good communication skills and strong computer literacy
