An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrical / Design Engineer to join a growing aviation engineering team supporting aircraft upgrade and modification programmes.
This role will focus on aircraft interior systems, electrical integration, and avionic modifications within a certified aviation engineering environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, analysis, and integration of aircraft electrical systems across a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design aircraft wiring systems and harnesses, including connectors, circuit breakers, and associated electrical components
• Produce and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) for aircraft integration projects
• Perform Electrical Load Analysis and generate technical reports
• Conduct EWIS and EZAP assessments and prepare associated documentation
• Source and assess electrical components to meet technical and certification requirements
• Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
• Estimate engineering effort and support continuous improvement of engineering processes
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input on electrical integration solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Previous Safety Management System (SMS) training within aviation design, production, or maintenance
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong knowledge of CS23, CS25, and CS27 airworthiness regulations
• Good understanding of EASA Part 21 requirements
• Experience producing technical reports and engineering documentation
• Proven experience working with aircraft electrical systems and avionics integration
