We are looking for an experienced Dryliner to carry out a range of drylining, boarding, insulation and fire-stopping works across construction sites.

The role will involve installing and repairing plasterboard and specialist boards, fitting insulation, carrying out fire-stopping works, and ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and in accordance with the relevant specifications and manufacturers' requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install plasterboard, fire-rated boards and other specialist boarding systems.

  • Carry out drylining works, including cutting, fitting and securing boards to walls, ceilings and other structures.

  • Install insulation, including mineral wool and other specified insulation products.

  • Carry out fire-stopping and fire-compartmentation works around penetrations, joints, service openings and other areas as required.

  • Install fire-rated products and systems in accordance with manufacturers' instructions and project specifications.

  • Repair, replace or make good existing boards, insulation and fire-stopping installations.

  • Accurately measure, cut and install materials to the required standard.

  • Ensure fire-stopping works are completed correctly and are suitable for inspection and sign-off.

  • Work from drawings, specifications and installation details where required.

  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area.

  • Follow all site health and safety procedures, RAMS and PPE requirements.

  • Liaise professionally with site management, other trades and subcontractors.

  • Report any defects, issues or materials requirements to the Site Manager.

  • Complete relevant site records, photographs and installation documentation where required.

  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within the required timescales.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in drylining, boarding, insulation or fire-stopping works.

  • Good understanding of construction site practices and health and safety requirements.

  • Ability to work accurately and to a high standard.

  • Ability to read and follow drawings, specifications and installation instructions.

  • Good practical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.

  • Good attention to detail, particularly when carrying out fire-stopping works.
