Configuration Engineer

The Role

To lead configuration and data management, driving the Engineering Release and Change Management processes. You will ensure accurate Engineering Bills of Materials, smooth data transfer to ERP, and continuous improvement of PLM tools and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering Release process within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform

• Chair Change Action review meetings, ensuring progress and approvals

• Support PLM system administration and configuration

• Maintain accurate Engineering Bills of Materials (BoMs) across projects

• Optimise BoM structures for downstream functions (manufacturing, procurement, ERP)

• Oversee data alignment and transfer between PLM and ERP systems

• Develop and maintain user documentation, training, and process guides

What We're Looking For

• Degree/HND in an Engineering discipline

• Strong knowledge of Change & Configuration Management principles

• Experience managing complex BoMs and Engineering Master Data

• Understanding of CAD data management within PLM platforms

• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and data integrity

• Effective communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally

• Experience with 3DX and/or prototype/development programmes beneficial
