Are you a Civil Engineer looking to work on a diverse range of building and infrastructure projects across the UK? We're seeking an experienced engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary design team, delivering innovative civil engineering solutions from concept through to construction.

The Role

As a Civil Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality civil engineering designs for building developments, working closely with architects, structural engineers and other design disciplines. You'll support projects through all design stages, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with industry standards and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce civil engineering designs for building and infrastructure projects.

• Design drainage systems, roads, car parks, utilities, earthworks and external works.

• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, drawings and technical documentation.

• Deliver designs in accordance with UK standards, regulations and client requirements.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to produce coordinated engineering solutions.

• Manage your workload to meet project programmes and delivery milestones.

• Work in accordance with BIM standards and digital engineering processes.

• Assist with technical reviews and quality assurance activities.

• Support communication with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies where required.

About You

You'll ideally have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, HND or equivalent industry experience.

• At least five years' experience in civil engineering design.

• Experience delivering civil infrastructure for building developments.

• Strong knowledge of drainage, roads, car parks, utilities and earthworks design.

• Experience using Civil 3D, AutoCAD and InfoDrainage or Flow software.

• A good understanding of current UK design standards and engineering best practice.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• The ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

• Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with ICE is desirable.
