Our aerospace interiors client is currently seeking a Certification Engineer to join their growing engineering team, supporting aircraft interior product development and certification activities within a regulated aviation environment.


Your Responsibilities

  • Develop certification test plans and prepare certification reports to ensure compliance with legal, aviation regulatory, and OEM requirements.

  • Act as the internal subject matter expert for certification topics, particularly design conformity, dynamic and static product testing, and aircraft installation/integration.

  • Communicate certification timelines, risks, and key considerations within a global project team environment.

  • Identify certification risks and potential compliance issues, proactively communicating impacts to scope, cost, and timeline to project teams and functional leadership.

  • Develop technical solutions to certification challenges and prepare the necessary analyses and compliance documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with internal project teams, airlines, OEMs, installation partners, aviation authorities, and test laboratories to ensure alignment with the overall project plan.

  • Represent the company in customer meetings and relevant industry forums.

  • Support colleagues within the Certification Team as a core team member.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic aerospace environment.


Your Profile

  • Completed technical degree (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or comparable qualification) or equivalent professional experience.

  • Several years of experience in aviation product certification, including collaboration with aerospace OEMs.

  • Proven experience supporting engineering projects from a certification and compliance perspective.

  • Strong knowledge of EASA regulations and familiarity with other European and U.S. aviation authority requirements.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a structured and analytical working style.

  • Experience working within interdisciplinary and international teams.

  • Detail-oriented, precise, and quality-focused approach to work.

  • Proactive mindset with motivation for continuous professional development.

  • Fluent written and spoken English.
