Cable Superintendent

Mane Energy are currently seeking an experienced Cable Lay Superintendent to join our team on board at JDN, operating offshore Taiwan on the Greater Changhua Inter-Array Cable Installation Project.
You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all cable laying operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of the work in line with project specifications and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Oversee and coordinate all inter-array cable laying activities on board.
• 
  Ensure operations are performed in accordance with HSE and QA/QC standards.
• 
  Lead and direct deck and cable crew during cable lay operations.
• 
  Interface with onshore and offshore project teams, including client representatives.
• 
  Monitor progress, manage reporting, and communicate any deviations or technical issues.
• 
  Assist in risk assessments and method statements as required.
• 
  Ensure compliance with relevant international standards and project specifications.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore cable laying operations.
• 
  Strong background in inter-array cable installation, including shallow and deep-water operations.
• 
  Experience with trenching, pull-ins, and jointing activities is highly desirable.
• 
  Proven leadership skills in a multicultural offshore team environment.
• 
  Strong communication skills (English essential).
