Buyer / Supply Planner - Fixed-Term Contract (4 Months)

I'm currently supporting a client in the motorsport/advanced engineering sector who are looking for an experienced Buyer / Supply Planner to join them on a 4-month contract.

This is a great opportunity to step into a fast-paced environment, supporting both purchasing and supply chain operations across ongoing projects and production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage RFQs, sourcing activities, and supplier relationships
• Raise, track, and expedite purchase orders
• Ensure material availability to meet production schedules
• Monitor supplier performance, costs, quality, and lead times
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
• Maintain accurate data within the ERP system
• Work closely with production, quality, and project teams
• Support resolution of supplier and delivery issues

About You:

• Proven experience in purchasing and/or supply planning
• Background within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (IFS desirable)
• Confident communicator with professional English
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage priorities effectively
